Case studies are the best way to show what a small-business website from ETX Websites actually looks like. This one covers Red Rooster Tattoo Supply, a client in Longview, Texas. Every fact below comes from their live site, checked on November 1, 2026.
The business
Red Rooster Tattoo Supply is a family-owned professional tattoo supply company in Longview, TX. According to their About page, it grew out of a Longview tattoo studio founded in 2014 by a working tattoo artist, and the husband-and-wife team behind it opened Red Rooster Tattoo Supply in April 2024.
They sell needle cartridges, needles on bar, tattoo ink, machines, stencil supplies, sanitary and medical supplies, aftercare and artist essentials from trusted brands. They also have their own line, including Red Rooster cartridges. Customers can shop at the Longview store or order online from anywhere in the country.
The goal
Red Rooster already had an online store on Square, which handles checkout, inventory and gift cards. What the site needed was the part a store template can't give you: a clear story about who they are, a fast way for artists to find the right category, and local information like store hours and directions. It also had to work well on phones, since many artists shop between appointments.
What we built
We designed custom sections that sit on top of their Square Online store. That way Red Rooster keeps Square's secure checkout, and visitors get a site that looks and reads like the brand:
- A branded homepage with the line "By Artists. For Artists." and quick buttons for Red Rooster cartridges, tattoo ink, tattoo machines and the full shop.
- A Red Rooster Originals section that explains why they developed their own cartridges, focused on consistency, control and real industry experience.
- Red Rooster Essentials highlighting everyday station products like stencil gel, mixing solution, ink mixers and squeeze bottles.
- Shop by category cards (ink, cartridges and needles, machines and power, and more) that link into the 40 product categories in the store menu.
- An About page that tells the family story, from the 2014 tattoo studio to the April 2024 supply store.
- Location, contact and store hours with a map and a Get Directions button, plus links to their Facebook and Instagram.
Features on the live site
- Mobile-first layout. On a phone-sized screen (390px wide) the page fits with no sideways scrolling.
- Secure checkout by Square, accepting Cash App Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the major cards shown on the site.
- An email and text sign-up form offering 10% off a first online order, protected by reCAPTCHA.
- A "Text us" button so customers can message the store.
- Gift cards sold online.
- A Tattoo Resources section with six guides for working artists, such as "Best Tattoo Cartridges for Lining vs Shading" and "Tattoo Supply Checklist for New Shops and Apprentices."
- A unique page title and meta description on the homepage and About page.
Results so far
Here's what we can verify today. The site is live, and it works on phones. In a Lighthouse mobile test we ran on November 1, 2026, it scored 100 for SEO. Because it's a big store with lots of product photos, mobile speed is the next thing to improve.
We're tracking search visibility, calls and online orders from here. We'll only share numbers once we have real ones to report. We won't guess at results, and we won't publish stats we can't back up.
